OUR HISTORY

The company was founded in 2010 by Peter Smithin. Peter has worked in the aerospace aftermarket for 30 years, initially in technical roles as a powerplant engineer and subsequently in commercial roles within engine parts repair, aircraft component repair and parts trading.

After completing a graduate Mechanical Engineering programme with Rolls-Royce in 1986, he has worked with major OEMs as well as independent MROs. He has benefitted from the lessons learned while working with large and small companies and has used his vast experience and network to establish the APU business, as well as continuing to provide sales support for independent MROs.
